 When it comes to building or remodeling a bathroom, labor is often one of the most costly factors. Installing bath accessories, such as towel bars and paper holders, can be especially time consuming. However, with Moen’s patented new PROFIT™ Installation System, designed by Creative Specialties International®, a division of Moen Incorporated®, the bath hardware installation process can now be reduced to one third the time.
Designed with input from professional hardware installers, the PROFIT Installation System not only cuts down the installation time by two thirds, but also it provides other key advantages. With a more quality, solid installation than traditional bath hardware, builders will reduce the number of callbacks. Additionally, the product’s minimal packaging makes for easier cleanup.
The three-step PROFIT Installation System uses a single screw mounting system, reducing by half the number of mounting screws required. Additionally, it eliminates the need for a set screw. Instead, the products lock in place onto the newly designed mounting post.
Here’s how it works:
- DRILL IT. Using Moen’s patented installation mounting template, which features pre-marked pilot holes for each accessory and a built in level, the installer simply places the template on the wall to drill pilot holes accurately for both 18” and 24” towel bars and paper holders.
- SCREW IT. Once the holes have been drilled, the installer then screws a pre-attached hollow wall anchor for a faster, more solid installation than traditional plastic wall anchors provide.
- CLICK IT. Finally, the bath hardware features a locking tab, which clicks onto the mounting post to hold the product firmly in place without a set screw.
